(*) PLEASE BE AWARE that, when we clean the fireplace glass, pressure is applied. If the glass is old or had been weakened due to a previous powerful blow to the glass, it can shatter. This can happen during the cleaning, but even after our technician leaves and the heat is turned on. It’s rare, but happens. When it does, we will offer to replace the glass, which usually costs between $300 and $500, at our cost plus $200 for our time to order and pick it up, prep it and install it. Unfortunately, if you fireplace is old, replacing the glass can be iffy. If you don’t want to risk this, please tell the technician you don’t want the glass cleaned.
